Don Malfon (saxo alto and baríton ) possesses the imperturbable serenity of those that have seen the margins of what is real, that know the elasticity of sounds, that don't fear their discordant and elastic limits. Only those that have inhabited the regions of free improvisation know another form of beauty where cowards don't dare venture. From the mouth of his august sax can emerge anything from the melancholy sigh of an enamoured dinosaur to the sound of the dancing of the ice-fish that inhabit the deepest chasms of the ocean and can also bring to the audience the noisy vertigo of the birds that fly beyond the sky, where the peaks of their impossible voices of obscene night-birds cross lights that no mortal has ever before seen.                                                                 Diego Alfonsín Rivero
